Having studied for two years in Malaysia before doing an elective transfer to the United-Kingdom to continue his Chiropractic studies, Derek knew he wanted to come back to the country which had welcomed him so warmly in the past. Nearly a decade later he finally took the plunge after spending years honing his craft as a Chiropractor and is now back in Malaysia to serve the local community!
Derek graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, the oldest and most prestigious Chiropractic University in the UK and Europe. He was exposed to a wide range of patients coming from all walks of life; a two day old baby, a 98 years old great grand-father and national athletes are a few examples of those he has successfully treated while over there.
Derek has a special interest in sports chiropractic. During his time in the UK, Derek has trained, worked and managed a sports and rehabilitation facility to further his knowledge and incorporate the best exercise regime into his treatment plans. Additionally, to provide the best treatment solutions for his high level athletes, Derek has also undergone extra training by involving himself in courses like Dry-Needling, IASTM or Kinesiotaping. While enjoying treating the general population and while having a keen interest for high level athletes, Derek also dedicated a huge amount of time and energy to the pregnant and paediatric populations. He has worked very closely with midwives at the Interdisciplinary Breastfeeding Clinic (IBC) in Bournemouth UK and along with Cheng, have also lead and published a research paper on the effects of Chiropractic care for the Paediatric population. Immersing himself in the above has allowed Derek to uniquely position himself to provide the best level of treatment to Pregnant ladies and babies.
All in all and during his time in England, Derek was fortunate to have built a strong following providing excellent care to his patients with his wide array of treatment protocols. He looks forward to bringing his wealth of knowledge and provide the same level of care to the Malaysian community and ensure they live a healthy and pain-free life for as long as possible.

Zicheng Mok (Cheng) completed her Chiropractic studies in Malaysia in the Year 2016. Longing for more exposure and a higher level of experience, she flew to the United-Kingdom to pursue a Chiropractic Masters qualification at the prestigious AECC University College where she achieved First Class Honours with Distinction. She, along the way, underwent additional qualifications such as Dry Needling, IASTM and KT Taping to expand her knowledge and ensure she could provide the best treatment given any situation.
Whilst Cheng loves treating everybody given her youngest patient was three day old and her oldest was 93, she has a special interest is in treating pregnant mothers and babies; She is a Webster Technique Certified Practitioner for expecting mothers and Cranial and Visceral Techniques Practitioner (AFP, UK) for the paediatric population, both of which are additional qualifications on top of her Chiropractic Masters Degree and Bachelor Degree.
Cheng is a well regarded member of the International Chiropractic Paediatric Association (ICPA) in the United-States and has spent two years researching, understanding and publishing an international paper on the effects of chiropractic care for the paediatric population through the Journal of Manipulative & Physiological Therapeutics; a database that all Chiropractors rely on for the latest research information on best practice for patients. As such she has worked closely with world renowned Paediatric Chiropractors and has learnt plenty from the very best.
Cheng also worked very closely with midwives from the Interdisciplinary Breastfeeding Clinic (IBC) at the AECC to understand how to best deal with difficulties mothers and babies are faced with after birth and how to co-manage with other healthcare practitioners to help her patients to the best of her capabilities.
Having fulfilled her search for more extensive learning experience, Cheng is now back to her hometown of Kuala-Lumpur to provide for her community and help people from all walks to life to the best of her capabilities.
